�s Engineering Division has four major business verticals viz, O&G Fabrication and Construction, Ship Repair, Ship Building & Maintenance Services and has it�s physical presence in Abu Dhabi, Dubai & Fujairah. These businesses cover an area of approximately 250,000 Sq metres and boast of state of the art infrastructure, a dedicated and skilled team of nearly 6,000 people in different businesses and the latest technological solutions which integrate these businesses & enable us to run these businesses effectively. The Engineering division has seen a rapid growth in the last 3 years having quadrupled it�s turnover in the last 3 years, ending 2008 with a turnover of roughly USD 260 Million.
Job Description
�Assist in the implementation of policies, procedures, organizational development projects and guidelines to help align manpower plan for the front line staff ( skilled and unskilled workers) to the organization
�s goals and overall efficiency of the Company.
�Coordinating closely with departmental heads & Project Managers in identifying short term & long term manpower requirements.
�Manage end to end recruitment matters including, identifying new recruitment partners, correspondences with existing recruitment partners, advertisement release, notices, etc.
�Ensuring the best methods for screening of prospective candidates, organising trade tests, pre-employment medical tests, induction and proper filing of documents.
�Mobilizing / demobilizing people and ensuring compliance to contract agreements and completing joining formalities.
�Set-up and maintain files for every new employee and ensure that these are maintained in an accurate and up-to-date manner at all times.
�Organise Induction programmes, technical and soft skills training programs, hand outs to new joinees and create awareness.
�Handle leave applications, maintain leave records and check for leave and final settlements, medical insurance policies and settle all grievances.
�Co-ordinate and follow-up for time cards with time-keepers and Ensuring timely submission of payroll inputs pertaining to frontline employees to Accounts for payroll processing.
�Carrying out half yearly appraisals for all employees, administering the process, providing guidelines to unit managers for gradation system, recommending salary revisions, preparing and issuing increment letters after necessary approvals.
�Develop and maintain effective communication across functions departments in the organization to ensure there is co-ordinated approach to all policies and procedures implemented.
�Provide counsel to managers on employment issues as maybe required.
�Co ordinate with the camps and ensure all accommodation related issues are taken care off.
�Interact with the various govt departments, such as labour, embassies, consulates and Maintain current knowledge of UAE Labour Law and convey the same to avoid infringement of any rules and regulations.
�Other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Profile
Minimum Qualifications: Graduation and a Post graduation in HR / Personnel / Industrial relations/ MSW Minimum Experience: 10 � 15 years overall with experience in similar industries such as Oil and Gas, shipbuilding, contracting, of at least 5years. GCC experience is mandatory
