Job Description

Essential Duties (Major responsibilities of this position) Percentage of Total Tim

•Website Programming languages must include: Java,EJB,J2EE,RMI,XML,JDBC,SQL,Swing,SOAP,WSDL,XML

•"Web Services programming and inter application communication" experience is a plus

•Edit and improve our CMS Content Management Software using C language •Experience with any of the following ( JSP, Apache Tomcat with its plug-ins, Servlets)

•Performing practical experience with Java/J2EE including: Advanced Java-Multi-threading and concurrency, EJB's (stateful and stateless), XML-mapping files and build scripts, Struts,

•Follow Quality Control system. •Provide a detailed weekly report to Head of I.T.

•Perform updating and maintenance for client web sites.

•Creation of documentation for client web sites.

•Publication of client web site on the Internet.

•Setting up of client hosting, email and statistics for client web sites. •Search engine optimization.

•Design Patterns, Hibernate, Ant build scripts, Eclipse, JSP's Versioning software, and DB2.

•Develops, implements, and maintains the SHL all web site operations, content, and images and develops technical architecture within a multi-platform environment •Review delivered applications for compliance with designs

•Work with the Quality Analysts to ensure that the framework and coding Standards.

•Identify methods, approaches and technologies that may improve our software development processes.

•Document programming problems and resolutions for future reference.

•Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed

•Test and develop programming modifications.

•Code testing and troubleshooting •Advising utilization the appropriate Hardware, Software, Database and latest programming topologies.

•Graphic artist building websites in Dreamweaver. What we need is a person who has a strong IT background in Web Services, SOAP, XML, etc. This skill will be needed in IT for building our automated systems of the future.

•Design and development however, contribute an important user-orientated perspective to the process.

•Contribute to audience research as a basis for design of the site.

•Contribute to the top-level and detailed design of the website (or newsletter, etc.), with a particular focus on the ways in which the goals for the site and the needs of users can be met through the provision of appropriate content.

•Contribute to the process of information design, to ensure that content appropriately structured to meet the goals for the site and the needs of users.

•Contribute to documentation of the design.

•Contribute to the selection or design of appropriate content management software.

•Providing technical support for clients.

•Up selling clients on more features.
