Job Description
Responsibilities
* Monitor and maintain control records for welding consumable and welder performance record.
* Inspect pipe fit-ups, alignment and visual inspection of all welds.
* Inspection of incoming materials.
* Ensure implementation of Quality Control Plans and procedures.
* Fit up inspection, Welding Inspection Before, during & after Welding.
* Weld consumable control etc, Final dimensional inspection.
* Review of Isometric Drawings & ensure Approved WPS as well as Qualified welders are available.
* Ensure that approved WPS are followed., Prepare daily inspection reports.
* Interpret/Review NDT reports and maintain all related file and records.
* Ensure that Inspection / Testing equipments at site are with valid calibration.
* Co-ordination with Client inspector for daily welding activities and for stage inspection.
* Maintain & update all quality related documents at site.
Education
Basic – Bachelor of Technology/Engineering ( Mechanical , Petroleum ) , Diploma ( Mechanical ) , PG – Master of Technology/Engineering ( Mechanical , Petroleum )
