Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASK:

Advise and update Project Management on the status of all Customs activities. Liaison with Package Managers to ensure receipt, and updating when requested, of Category "A" Third Forms from EPC Contractors. Obtains Agency services to amalgamate and prepare Category "A" Forms to MoCI Issues Power of Attorney and materials Port Clearance authorities to EPC Contractor Customs Brokers Establishes procedures for, and monitors, prompt payment of customs duties levied directly to Customs authority nominated bank. Payments being made

"On Deposit." Resolves situations between Customs authorities and Brokers when duty exemption status is denied. Receives and safeguards all

"Bayan" for after the fact Customs Duty exemptions and Contract close out. Liaison with Package Managers to ensure that material surplus to Project needs is accounted for and Customs Duties exempted or paid by Company are recovered by Company
