Project Manager - Learning Management Systems/ Blackboard/ Plateau

  • Project team management and status (both internal and client)

  • Project plan development and tracking

  • Client and staff status meeting facilitation

  • Functional and technical analysis and supervision

  • Quality Assurance

  • Issue and budget management

  • Development of Practice Management Standards and Tools

  • Overseeing the scheduling/forecasting of resources

  • Assisting in the development of other consultants


    Requirements



  • 5 years minimum software implementation project experience and/or project management experience (Big 5 experience preferred)

  • 3 years minimum Project Management Experience

  • Strong fundamentals and understanding of key technologies - Operating System, Database Platforms, Web and Application Servers, Clustered and Load Balancing Environments, Integration Design and Architecture, Enterprise technologies like J2EE.

  • Customer management skills, including diplomacy, clear communication style, and relationship development

  • Ability to work with minimal direction

  • Skill in oral presentations and written communication

  • Skill in time management and in handling multiple priorities

  • Skill in taking initiative within area of responsibility

  • Skill in understanding interrelationships of work/project assignments and seeking coordination and integrating planning, decisions, and outcomes

  • Skill in thoroughly carrying out, reviewing, and reporting on all aspects of the work

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to handle customers effectively and a strong customer service orientation

  • Ability to deal with complex customer service issues

  • Mix of consulting and operational experience considered a plus

  • PMI certification a plus

  • Experience     5 - 15 years

  • Education     Basic - Bachelor of Technology/Engineering
