Offshore Marine Services

OMS U.A.E provides Drilling and Marine personnel, on a contract, temporary or permanent placement basis, to clients who operate in the Middle East, India and other international locations. Position: Marine Engineer Department: Engineering Department Reports to: Engineering Manager 

Job Responsibilities 

•design, operate, maintain, and repair the mechanical systems of ships 

•supervise the crews that install electrical equipment. 

•select tools and spare parts that may be needed for emergency repairs 

•should have knowledge of repair and maintenance of a ship when it is in dry dock. 

•make sure that the equipment works properly before the ship is launched. 

•Should have knowledge of estimating the cost of the equipment needed.

Job Requirements: 

•Minimum 5-6 years of relevant experience in the shipbuilding / marine industry. 

•Good interpersonal and communication skills 

•Age: 22 – 35 years. 

•Education: Marine Engineer 

•Arabic speaking preferably. 

•Must possess a positive attitude and is a team player. 

•Salary up to AED 15000 inclusive all.
