Job Description

„« Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance
with the applicable codes and standards.

„« Familiar with Inspection and test plan & Method of statement and
procedures.

„« Knowledge in international standards (ASME / ASTM / AWS / ASNT / API
)
„« Participate in the site internal and external site audits.

„« Coordination of site quality inspections with client and site sub
contractors.

„« Coordination with client inspectors and managers.

„« Coordinate all the quality site inspections through the site QC
inspectors.

„« Preparation of WPS & PQR with respect to contract specification,
procedure and drawings.

„« Conducting Welder Qualification according to approved PQR for
various materials & welding process.

„« Knowledge of executing all NDT activities (Like RT / UT / PT / MT /
PWHT / Hardness / PMI / TOFD / Phased Array).

„« Follow up with third party inspection agency for all the NDT
activities.

„« Witnessing of Fit-Up, Welding, Pre-Heating, Stress relieving,
Penetrant test, Magnetic Test, Radiography testing, Hardness Test, PMI,
Ultrasonic test and Holiday test.

„« Preparing of piping test packages according to P&ID and
isometrics.
„« Monitoring of welding consumables and welders performance as well as
productivity.

„« High skill of Reviewing Radiography Films and PWHT charts.

„« Quality control documentation is complied and completed for as-built
hand over through the QC turnover engineer to client.

„« Control of all nonconformance reports and undertake remedial action.

 

Desired Candidate's Profile

Profile
Bachelor
of Technology/Engineering (MECHANICAL)
ASNT Level II (RT / UT / PT / MPT) / AWS
Operational knowledge in all construction related Computer Applications
and Softwares.
Engineering graduate (Mechanical) with a minimum of 3 years of relevant
experience in handling QA/QC related activities of mega industrial
construction projects. Gulf experience will be preferred.
