Welding Inspector
at GANAMA Ltd. in Syria
Job Responsibilities:
• Verifying the work order, drawing and received material
• Inspection of incoming materials
• Verifying the welder qualification related to the job
• Conducting welder qualification tests, reports and welder ID preparation
• Assuring the WPS for new jobs
• Inspection of fit-up and welding
• Verifying the follow-up of consumable handling
• Visual inspection for completed welds
• Verifying the PWHT requirements
• NDT requests and results follow-up & NDT clearance for hydro test
• Witnessing the hydro tests & Verifying the equipment calibration status
• Preparation of final documentations
• Emphasize and follow-up the implementation of safety rules
Qualifications:
• Must have a certificate of Welding Inspector (Preferable-CSWIP)
• Work experience (5+ year minimum experience requested)
• Good communication skills and customer relations skill
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
• Good mechanical aptitude
