Purpose of the Job

Development, implementation, testing, education and maintenance of a standardized, company-wide Business Continuity Plan (BCP)

Job Description

* Development, implementation, testing, education and maintenance of a standardized, company-wide Business Continuity Plan (BCP). * Undertaking Risk assessments, impact analysis, audits and management reviews. * Developing and implementing best practice Business Continuity Management * Continuously review the approach to BC, refine and improve when necessary. * Apply mitigation plan for identified risks and the recovery of critical business processes at time of incident. * Annually define and prioritize, through business impact assessments, all key business functions and systems / applications which are determined to be critical to achieve company objectives and which reflect the present operational environment. * Establish training programs to ensure that each employee knows how to respond in a disaster situation.

Qualifications

* Education: Bachelor degree, with background in IT and BCP and proven track record. * ISO 9001 courses are plus * BS 25999 courses are plus * Years of work experience: 1+ year experience of implementing and maintaining Business continuity plan.

TECHNICAL SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE

Business continuity: Experience of implementing and maintaining BS 25999, Experience of implementing ISO 9001 is highly desirable
Risk: The person should be able to demonstrate knowledge of business impact assessment, risk assessment.
Auditing : Business continuity background, with auditing qualifications.
Communication and personal : Have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Excellent communications skills. Ability to develop good relationships at all levels. Ability to prepare presentation and written reports. Team-player
Project Management: Have project management experience
