Senior officer Technical Support
at Reach in United Arab Emirates - Abu Dhabi
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network operating system.
• Be familiar with all new hardware and software.
• Be familiar with operating systems.
• Provide orientation to new users of existing technology.
• Train staff about potential uses of existing technology.
• Provide individual training and support on request.
• Provide recommendations about accessing information and support.
• Maintain current and accurate inventory of technology hardware, software and resources.
• Troubleshoot all technology issues.
• Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance.
• Provide network access to all staff.
• Install and configure workstations specially DELL and HP models.
• Connect and setup hardware.
• Load all required software.
• Connect and maintain computer peripheral equipment such as scanners, printers, and projectors; ensure that these are prepared and ready to be used.
• Be familiar with the network infrastructure (cable and patch panels, hubs, Cisco switches, Cisco IP phones, Cisco wireless access points and Cisco routers) and keep a log of any damage to it.
• Provide day to day support for all Help Desk enquiries and applications.
• Document inventories and records for all IT hardware and software.
• Candidate should have minimum 3 years of related experience in IT support
