3 Year contract (renewable)
Single and family contracts available.
Generous Tax free basic salary. Offered according to experience. From 12800 QAR up to 23625 QAR per month. 23625 QAR is +/- 77 000 South-African Rand/ 422 000 INR / 15 600 TND. Note salary paid in QAR.
Free fully furnished accommodation provided.
Transport allowance of 1250 QAR per month added to your basic salary.
Free "round trip" (to and from home country) flight tickets on joining, annual leave, and on repatriation. For those with family contract offered this will be also be applicable for your family (wife and up to 3 children up to 18 years old).
School allowance: 21 000 QAR (maximum) for up to 3 children (ages 5- 18) per child per academic year provided that they are studying in private schools in Doha.
40 days paid annual vacation days.
End of Service Award (at end of contract) which is one month's salary for each year worked.

Minimum Requirements
EDUCATION: BSc Science Degree.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum: 5 Years licensed.
LICENSE: Valid Primary License from the country of origin if applicable AND should be eligible for license in the State of Qatar within the Supreme Council of Health”.

Position Summary
Supervise, perform and advise on all tests done in the laboratory.
Organize purchase orders of equipment's and reagents -Participate in administrative duties of the section as directed by the chairman.

Principal Accountabilities
Responsible to the Consultant in-charge of the section.
Organize and directs the daily activities of technical staff in the section.
Supervise the activity and productivity of technical staff in the section in close consultation with the head of the section and the division chief technologist.
Supervises the work of the technical staff according to the approved test procedures.
Maintain adequate inventories of expandable supplies and prepare all purchase request.
Supervise the maintenance of laboratory equipment's.
Implements and maintains a strict internal and external quality assurance.
Participates actively in the planning and presentation of continuing education program for laboratory staff assigned to the section as well as university students.
Evaluate periodically the technical staff and maintain the records.
Recommend to the head of section selection, transfer, discipline and discharge of personnel assigned to the section.
Ensure that the safety measures are implemented.
Prepares statistics of the section when required
Re-evaluate current practices and procedures as and when required.
Performs other duties and tasks as required.
