Job Description

Function independently as a Reliability and Planning Engineer for the company with an objective of meeting the business targets by applying sound Reliability and Planning practices. Achieve Asset Capability and Asset Reliability targets with a focus on a long term strategy to close opportunity gaps by developing improved equipment maintenance strategies and implementing these through sound preventative maintenance and manpower planning practices. Apply suitable reliability and predictive maintenance tools to continuously improve the performance of the plant. Uses long term cost of ownership and reliability engineering principles to optimize spare parts stock levels in conjunction with the Stores function and other specialists.

Profile

• Have BSc. in the field of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a well recognized university.

• Have a minimum 7 years experience in heavy industry in the capacity of mechanical or electrical engineering, preferably in rolling industry.

• In-depth knowledge of plant maintenance works, including all the relevant international standards.

• Preferably be experienced in reliability engineering and predictive maintenance practices

• Preferably be experienced in planned maintenance, manpower and shutdown planning principles and practices

• Must have a good command of English Language both written and spoken.

• Be between 30 to 40 years old.
