Ma'aden was formed as a Saudi joint stock company on 23 March 1997 (corresponding to 14/11/1417H) for the purpose of facilitating the development of Saudi Arabia's mineral resources. To date Ma'aden's activities have focused on its active gold business which has grown in recent years to include the operation of five gold mines: Mahd Ad Dahab, Al Hajar, Sukhaybarat, Bulghah, and Al Amar. Ma'aden is now expanding its activities beyond its gold business with the development of its Phosphate Project, Aluminium Project, and Other Projects. In addition, since its formation, Ma'aden (through the Ministry of Petroleum & Mineral Resources) has collaborated with the Government and local legislators to develop a regulatory framework for the governance of the mining industry in Saudi Arabia. Ma'aden's gold business is operated through its gold division which explores for precious and base metals within Saudi Arabia. It currently operates five gold mines in Saudi Arabia: Mahd Ad Dahab, Al Hajar, Sukhaybarat, Bulghah, and Al Amar. Ma'aden is also developing one more mining property in Ad Duwayhi and has five advanced exploration projects.


Job Description


Collect, organize and prepare reports on internal and external manpower and budget data so Ma'aden can plan for and meet it's human resource requirements.


 Prepare and organize annual Manpower Budget documents for departmental review and updating up to the final approval stage. Liaise with departments and prepare spreadsheet with relevant costing data and advise them of the final approved budget.


 Prepare and distribute actual vs. budget monthly reports.


 Conduct analysis of data to highlight anomalies or potential developments of interest to senior management.


 Ensures that official organization charts of Ma'aden's organization entities and relevant supporting documents are kept up-to-data at all times


 Prepares and circulates corporate organization charts.


 Allocates job numbers to positions as they are created in the structure.


 Conduct analysis of global, regional and local work force information and how it might affect Ma'aden's ability to achieve its objectives.


 Studies, evaluates and recommends alternative manpower-service arrangements such as the contracting-out of certain non-sensitive functions or services that will give the most cost-effective returns for Ma'aden


 Recommends innovative methods and strategies to resolve problems of job turnover, long-and short-term workforce planning.


 Develops Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).


 Works under specific guidelines and acts as a resource on work force planning issues. Devises work methods in accordance with general guidelines and established policies and professional standards. Completed assignments are subject to subsequent review.


 Works closely with other department management to collect and confirm supplied data. Coordinates with Talent Acquisition and Talent Development on implementing succession-planning programs. Collects and analyzes relevant information affecting work force issues.


 Conduct analysis of global, regional and local work force information and how it might affect Ma'aden's ability to achieve its objectives.


Education


Basic - Bachelor of Business Administration ( Management ) , Bachelor of Commerce ( Commerce ) , PG - MBA/PG Diploma in Business Mgmt ( HR/Industrial Relations )
