Saudi Arabian Mining Company (MAADEN)

Ma'aden was formed as a Saudi joint stock company on 23 March 1997 (corresponding to 14/11/1417H) for the purpose of facilitating the development of Saudi Arabia's mineral resources. To date Ma'aden's activities have focused on its active gold business which has grown in recent years to include the operation of five gold mines: Mahd Ad Dahab, Al Hajar, Sukhaybarat, Bulghah, and Al Amar. Ma'aden is now expanding its activities beyond its gold business with the development of its Phosphate Project, Aluminium Project, and Other Projects. In addition, since its formation, Ma'aden (through the Ministry of Petroleum & Mineral Resources) has collaborated with the Government and local legislators to develop a regulatory framework for the governance of the mining industry in Saudi Arabia. Ma'aden's gold business is operated through its gold division which explores for precious and base metals within Saudi Arabia. It currently operates five gold mines in Saudi Arabia: Mahd Ad Dahab, Al Hajar, Sukhaybarat, Bulghah, and Al Amar. Ma'aden is also developing one more mining property in Ad Duwayhi and has five advanced exploration projects.

Job Description

č Report to Maaden Infrastructure Company (MIC) General Manager č Having a experience in SABIC, Aramco or private petrochemical companies in Kingdom.

ƒç Must interface with Raz site tenants and neighbors such as Maa¡¦den Phosphate Company (MPC), Royal Commission (RC), Saudi Seaport Authority (SEAPA) other Government Organizations and clients on behalf of MIC Manager to complete the following:

č Represent MIC GM to ensure that agreements in the LUSA agreement for site tenants are fulfilled by both parties.

č Represent MIC GM to ensure that agreements such as Memorandum of Understanding with other entities such as Saudi Seaport Authority (SEAPA), Royal Commission (RC), SAR are fulfilled by both parties.

č Coordinate all design and construction interface with all parties in RAZ.

č Represent MIC GM to ensure that concessionaires with MIC honor their concessionaire agreements , such as concrete concessionaire, fuel concessionaire, communications , etc

č Represent MIC GM in interfacing with other government agencies such as Royal Commission, HCIS, STC, SAR, MOT, SEC, etc

č As agreed with MIC GM, will establish routine meetings with the respective interface entities and prepare agendas for meetings, maintain MOMs, and follow-up on behalf of MIC GM in implementing any actions assigned to MIC

č Will review MIC documentation and documentation from interface entities to ensure MIC policies and objectives are met and ensure agreements with the interface entities are met.

č Will establish and maintain interface matrix documenting the interface requirements between MIC and MIC interface entities and monitor activities and documents to ensure interface requirements are met and advise MIC GM accordingly
