Ma'aden was formed as a Saudi joint stock company on 23 March 1997 (corresponding to 14/11/1417H) for the purpose of facilitating the development of Saudi Arabia's mineral resources. To date Ma'aden's activities have focused on its active gold business which has grown in recent years to include the operation of five gold mines: Mahd Ad Dahab, Al Hajar, Sukhaybarat, Bulghah, and Al Amar. Ma'aden is now expanding its activities beyond its gold business with the development of its Phosphate Project, Aluminium Project, and Other Projects. In addition, since its formation, Ma'aden (through the Ministry of Petroleum & Mineral Resources) has collaborated with the Government and local legislators to develop a regulatory framework for the governance of the mining industry in Saudi Arabia. Ma'aden's gold business is operated through its gold division which explores for precious and base metals within Saudi Arabia. It currently operates five gold mines in Saudi Arabia: Mahd Ad Dahab, Al Hajar, Sukhaybarat, Bulghah, and Al Amar. Ma'aden is also developing one more mining property in Ad Duwayhi and has five advanced exploration projects. Job Description


Supervises and coordinates activities of the plant workers engaged in blending various ore quality and stock them for further processing. Confers with plant management and other supervisors to plan daily production and coordinate blending activities with other departments. Inventories storage to determine priority of blends and availability of grades for blending. Ensures that grade control procedures are performed to a high standard so that ore loss and dilution of the ore with waste rock is kept to a minimum. Assesses activities of workers engaged in crushing, grinding, and concentrating ore preparatory to further processing or shipment Performs the geological logging of the blast holes/and or ripping of surface soil to ensure acceptable sampling standards so that all the necessary data is maintained. In connection with drilling programs, he ensures quality control of the sampling, high standard drilling, enters data of the collar locations, geology, downhole surveying and assay results. Produces drill sections and outlines mineralization for digitizing, produces ore resources using both polygonal and 3D ore-body modeling techniques and manages the geological databases.
