It is (A subsidiary of Al Jaber group of companies) the largest privately owned company and the largest employer in Abu Dhabi. Al Jaber traditionally owned ready-mix concrete plants and equipments to supply its own projects. It has consolidated all its operations in the fields of ready mix concrete, precast, quarry and block, to provide a one-stop shop for all customers needs under Xtramix concrete solutions.


Xtramix main office is located at Mussafah Industrial Area, Abu Dhabi, together with its main tower batching plant. Other batching plants are located at Al Mafraq near Mafraq Bridge with easy access to the main road connecting Al Mafraq to Abu Dhabi Western Region and Al Ain; in Habshan "Western Region"; inside the premises of Abu Dhabi International Airport; Ras Al Khaimah; Al Ruwais; Hameem. Liwa, and Al Saadiyat Island, which brings the total to 8 plants.


The company is engaged in the production of ready-mix concrete to cater the needs of the people especially to the construction industry. One of the objectives of the company is to contribute its share as a supplier of ready-mix mixed concrete for the infrastructure projects of the private sector as well as in the government such as roads, bridges, oil & gas pumping stations, dams, reservoirs, ports & harbors, private/ residential villas, hotels, airfield, buildings and other similar structures.


Job Description


HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT ORGANIZATION EFFECTIVENESS PROGRAMME - OEP POSITION PROFILER KIT (PPK) JOB DESCRIPTION SECTION Department:


Sales & Business Development Position: Sales & Marketing Manager Reports to: Operations Manager Section: Sales Direct Reports: Sales supervisor Internal Working Relations: Accounts, Operation, QC External Working Relations: Clients, Consultants Key Objectives of the Job: Overall responsibility for marketing and sales of the precast products Duties & Responsibilities:


1. Establishes market objectives and elaborates business plans to develop new opportunities and revenue streams for the company's precast products.


2. Undertakes research and analysis of all target markets by geography, structure type or product type.


3. Identifies customer needs and incorporates them in strategic marketing initiatives through continuous contact with clients and professional associations.


4. Gathers industry intelligence, monitors trends/methodologies used by competitors, architects, developers and contractors.


5. Conducts problem analysis for existing and new marketing directions with appropriate risk analysis.


6. Interacts with execute management to ensure viability and acceptance of marketing initiatives.


7. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.


8. Directs Sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.


9. Reviews market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.


10. Directs staffing, training, and performance evaluations to develop and control sales program.


11. Directs channel development activity and coordinates sales distribution by establishing sales territories, quotas, and goals.


12. Assigns sales territory to sales representatives as well as analyzes sales statistics to formulate policy and assist dealers in promoting sales.


13. Directs product simplification and standardization.


14. Represents company at trade association meetings to promote product.


15. Meets with key clients, delivering sales presentations and assisting sales representative with negotiating and closing deals.


16. Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budget requirements.


17. Assists other departments with organization to prepare manuals and technical publications.


18. Prepares periodic sales report and directs product research and development.


19. Monitors and evaluates the activities and products of the competition.


20. Administers the estimation department and takes charge of pricing & estimation of new projects /inquiries.


21. The prices estimated by the estimators will be checked d and approved by the technical & planning manager, but the final quotation /estimation/tender should be co-approved by the operations manager.


22. To evaluate the time, production, planning and cost that estimator has allocated for the project.


23. Follows up payments (interim & final, claims against the additional works and lost time) in coordination with Operations manager, in cast of special relationship with the client.


24. Involved in the employee appraisal.


25. Keep update records and proper filing.


26. Submit half yearly and yearly budget to the superior/Operations Manager

Basic - Bachelor of Technology/Engineering
